Sock Knitting for Beginners
There's nothing quite like a hand-knit sock. In this beginner-friendly workshop, we'll demystify sock construction: casting on with double-pointed needles, turning a heel, picking up stitches for the gusset, and grafting the toe with Kitchener stitch. You'll finish one complete sock and have all the knowledge for the second.

This is a 2-session course. Price covers all sessions.
Sock yarn (fingering weight, at least 400 yards) and US 1 or 2 DPNs. Stitch markers and a tapestry needle.
About your instructor
Kirsten learned to knit from her mother Marie on the island of Fyn in Denmark. She teaches at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod and from her studio in Barnstable. Small groups, personal attention, real technique.
