Irish Cable Knit Masterclass
Cables are the backbone of Aran knitting and one of the most satisfying textures to create. This masterclass covers basic rope cables, honeycomb, braids, and the iconic Aran diamond. We'll discuss the symbolism behind traditional Aran patterns and work a cable sampler you can frame or use as a pillow front.

Worsted-weight wool (light color recommended) and US 7/8 needles. Cable needle provided.
About your instructor
Kirsten learned to knit from her mother Marie on the island of Fyn in Denmark. She teaches at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod and from her studio in Barnstable. Small groups, personal attention, real technique.
